My tidal wave

Once upon a time
A tidal wave of emotions flooded me

I never knew it was possible to feel so much
So much that no one understands
Sometimes I wish I didn't feel anything at all

Perhaps in this world
It is better to be cold
Than to be hurt
And to be able to feel for someone

Start again

Tears are a sign of the start of a new life
Since birth
Our first tear shows that we're alive

So now
For every tear we fear to shed
Know that it is okay
Becuase we're starting again

Someone's eyes

I've walked the path
That I didn't go
Hear the voices
Of those I don't know

Now that my eyes have opened so wide
I'm afraid to look into someone's eyes
Knowing that they cried
And that someone has to die


Inside
